The CorporateConnections Global Convention, eagerly awaited every year, brings together Directors, Members, and Spouses/Guests for an unforgettable event. It offers an exceptional platform for peer-to-peer learning, networking, engaging workshops, and unique experiences, in a world-class setting. 

CCGC 2023 exceeded all expectations for attendees and guests, who gathered during an unforgettable week in the Riveria Maya, Mexico. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who traveled to Mexico to attend Global Convention, where we welcomed over 250 participants from 27 countries and 4 continents, worldwide. 

Our first day kicked off with a Directors’ Day session and expedition, followed by a Spouses/Guests “Meet and Greet” and Resort tour. In the evening, a lively Reception welcomed everyone. We were entertained by a roving mariachi band as we sipped tropical beverages and caught up with old friends, as well as made new acquaintances. 

Day 2 began with a New Member Orientation Breakfast where Members were able to connect with the GST, ask questions and meet other new Members. An impressive flag ceremony kicked the official opening, followed by keynote Speaker Ian Urbina.  Afterward, Structured Roundtables, Lunch, and then attendees were off to attend their 1-2-1’s. The afternoon and evening were spent at leisure, as attendees met up for further conversations while paddling in kayaks, cooling off in the ocean, and over drinks and dinner at the resort’s wide assortment of bars and restaurants. 

Day 3 began with keynote Speaker Bobby Herrera, a book signing, followed by a productive morning of Forum Experience. The afternoon was spent exploring the resort’s sprawling parks and ended with Espectacular, a colorful and entertaining pageant of Mexico’s history and culture. 

Day 4, the final day, opened with keynote Speaker Verne Hamish, followed by 3 concurrent Breakout sessions and then the entire afternoon was free for everyone to spend how they wished. Many enjoyed a leisurely lunch poolside, some ventured away to explore cenotes and others spent time rejuvenating at the tranquil spa. Our final evening was spent celebrating each other at a Cocktail and Gala Dinner with a dazzling awards presentation. 

We packed a lot of treasured memories into a few days and nights in Mexico! All returned home with traces of sand in our suitcases and the promise of next year’s Global Convention to be held in London, England next June 2024!
